Overview
The AG-HMX100 can operate as a 3D video switcher with dual SDI signal inputs from 3D cameras. It comes with two pairs of inputs and one pair of output s for 3D video signals. A 3D live switching system can be configured by combining two or more 3D cameras and 3D projector systems. Supports both the simultaneous and side-by-side 3D video output systems.
- The AG-HMX100 is compact, all-in-one, digital AV mixer with a built-in HD/SD multi-format*1 video switcher, audio mixer, frame synchronizer and digital effector. It serves as an audio/video switcher, adds a variety of effects, and transmits signals – all by itself. A Multi-View function displays all source images on a single monitor, while keeping the system configuration simple and clean. Users benefit from easy delivery, set-up and removal at event sites, as well as low-cost operation. Wide-ranging SDI (HD/SD), PC (DVI-I) and HDMI (HD only) inputs, versatile digital effects, and comfortable Matrix Menu operation join with advanced functions, such as control of Panasonic professional projectors,*2 to configure a low-cost system that supports a wide variety of applications, from live relays and broadcasting to production. The AG-HMX100 can also operate as a 3D video switcher with dual SDI inputs.*3 By combining it with several 3D cameras and 3D projectors, it can serve as a 3D live switching system for low-cost, easy-to-use, 3D image broadcasting and production systems.

All-in-One Unit for Low-Cost Operation
- The AG-HMX100 Digital AV Mixer uses internal 12-bit digital processing to ensure high image quality. Highly compact, it integrates a built-in HD/SD video switcher, audio mixer, frame synchronizer, and control panel. The AG-HMX100 serves as a video/audio switcher, adds various effects, and transmits signals — all by itself. The 5.7-inch LCD screen displays a five-row matrix menu. Combined with rotary switches, this allows quick and easy function setting. The AG-HMX100 also features pattern preset, an event memory and other functions for comfortable operation.
A Wealth of Digital Inputs, Outputs and Effects
- In addition to four SDI (HD/SD switchable) channels and two HDMI (in HD mode) channels for inputting digital video signals, the AG-HMX100 has a DVI-I input for inputting video and stillimage data from a PC or a Mac. Built-in 2D effect and digital effect functions further increase image creation versatility. Chroma and luminance keying are also supported.
New Multi-View and Projector Control Functions.
- The new multi-view function displays a split screen to show PVW image, PGM image, all source images, audio level and waveform (WFM). This allows use of a single monitor for easy equipment setup and low-cost operation. The AG-HMX100 can also control a projector* (power ON/OFF, shutter ON/OFF) via RS-232C remote.
*The control function supports Panasonic projectors (equipped with an RS-232C terminal) only.
3D Compatible
- The AG-HMX100 can operate as a 3D video switcher with dual SDI signal inputs from 3D cameras. It comes with two pairs of inputs and one pair of outputs for 3D video signals. When two AG-HMX100 units are connected, they can serve as a 3D video switcher for up to four 3D cameras.
* Only the switcher function operates. Effects such as ME cannot be used. Other functions such as multi-view, WFM and title mix are not supported.

The multi-format HMX100 is an affordable, high-quality switcher/mixer designed to support multiple camera workflows, from production, to corporate A/V projects, to wedding and live events. This versatile production tool can even switch 3D HD video, making it the first affordable live switcher for use in 3D production. The HMX100 offers an array of interfaces including four HD/SD-HDI inputs/outputs, two HDMI inputs and two analogue composite inputs, allowing the HMX100 to connect directly to virtually any camcorder or other video source.
- Additional connections include a DVI-I input for computer use, two DVI-D outputs (PGM and Multi-Viewer), a microphone input, dual aux in and audio outputs, a headphone jack, as well as connections for genlock, GPI, RS-232C and tally output. In addition to the ability to mix embedded audio from HD/SD-SDI camcorders and other and sources, the HMX100 offers eight XLR and 2 RCA connectors for line level audio inputs, as well as embedded audio output and two channels of analogue audio out.
- The compact HMX100 features a 5.7-inch LCD display and an intuitive control panel that provides easy access to digital effects including basic pattern key, transition wipes, chroma and luminance keys, downstream keying (DSK), title key, time effects (still/strobe) and fades (in/out, video, audio). The unit also features preset/event memory buttons. For added flexibility, the mixer has a Multi-Viewer function that allows users to display video sources, audio levels, and a waveform monitor, in multiple windows on a single monitor.
- When connected to a single display, the mixer can display preview out, audio level meters, program out, input audio level meters (digital input only), six sources of video inputs, one source of DVI-I input and a waveform monitor.
- For use in A/V systems, the HMX100 connects easily with Panasonic projectors via DVI-D, HD-SDI and RS-232C connections to mix in various sources during a presentation, and can remotely control the projector’s power and shutter settings. The unit cannot operate in a system with mixed HD and SD, 50Hz and 59.94Hz, or 1080i and 720p signals.

Exchange/refund procedure
For exchanges/refund, the customer is required to post an exchange/refund request on the “Q&A” board.
The request is to include the reason for exchanges/refunds and the order number.
In case of exchange/refund request due to product defects or wrong item delivered, detailed photos of the products are also required. Exchanges/refunds will be made shortly upon careful examination and confirmation on the reported defects.
The shipping costs occurring from product defects or wrong item delivered are the responsibility of the channel.com.ph.

channel.com.ph will repair any product under warranty at no charge or replace the unit of the exact model if deemed necessary.
If repair of returned merchandise is necessary due to neglect, damage, misuse, or improper repair by others, a charge will be made for labor, parts, and return freight.
