Product Details

An articulate headphone mix can make a tremendous difference to the outcome of a recording session. The 4-channel BEHRINGER HA4700 features superior performance, routing and mixing functions to accommodate the most discerning set of ears. When a conditioned mix has to reach multiple listeners, the HA4700 delivers in style.

Altogether Now

The HA4700 offers 4 high-power amplifiers that can drive loads down to 8 Ohms. Each amplifier features its own two-band EQ, 8-digit LED output meter, left and right Mute switches, a ST./2-CH switch to toggle between stereo or double mono, and a 1/4" stereo AUX input to mix in any instrument or sound source. The front panel gives you one Phones Out 1/4" jack per channel. A Main section features a 5-segment LED output meter, Direct In 1/4" jack and Master Level dial.

Connections

On the back panel you'll find two additional 1/4" outputs per channel. That means up to 12 pairs of headphones can listen to four separate mixes at once. The back panel also features stereo 1/4" and XLR Inputs and Outputs so you can connect multiple HA4700 units for even greater listening capacity. Meanwhile, ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers deliver outstanding audio quality.

Panel Features

1.) The DIRECT IN socket is used to feed in additional stereo signals.

2.) The MASTER LEVEL control governs the level of the input signal that is fed through the MAIN INPUT connectors on the back or through the DIRECT IN connector.

3.)The 4-digit INPUT LEVEL display informs you about the input level signal and displays it in the range -30 and 0 Db.

4.)The 8-digit OUTPUT LEVEL display informs you about the output signal level of each individual channel, and displays it in the range -30 and 0 Db.

5.) The BASS Control attenuates or boosts the low frequency portions of the signal (+/-12 Db)

6.) The TREBLE control attenuates or boosts the high frequency portion of the signal¬(+/-12 Db)

7.) The L Mute and R Mute switches allow you to mute the respective input signal so that only the remaining input signal is audible.

8.) The PHONES OUT connector is connected in parallel to the output connectors located on the rear, presenting an easily accessible additional monitor option for individual channels.

9.) The AUX IN input is used to mix an additional input signal into the MAIN IN or DIRECT IN connector.

10.) The ST.12-CH switch is used to alternate whether input signals are audible in stereo or in mono.

11.) The BALANCE Control regulates the stereo image of input signals provided that the AUX IN input of one of the amp sections is not already in use.

12.) Headphones volume of the individual amp sections is regulated using the OUTPUT LEVEL control.

13.) The POWER switch powers the POWERPLAY PRO on.

14.) Power is supplied via an IEC Connector.

15.) FUSE COMPARTMENT 1 VOLTAGE SELECTION. Before connecting the unit to a power outlet, please make sure that the selected voltage matches your local voltage.

16.) The HEADPHONE OUT connectors of the individual amp sections are also used for connecting headphones. The HA4700 features two additional headphones connectors per channel located on the rear; the HA8000 has once.

Exchange/refund procedure
For exchanges/refund, the customer is required to post an exchange/refund request on the “Q&A” board.
