The Behringer MDX1600 Autocom Pro-XL Compressor is a dual-channel compressor/limiter/expander that will increase vocal presence and energy, compress mono or stereo signals without loss of high frequencies, and minimize dangerous signal peaks. Integrated dynamic enhancer, de-esser, and low-contour filter provide the utmost in signal enrichment. The MDX1600 features a stereo dynamic processor with couple function, auto and manual mode compression, and separate IRC expander/gate. Has accurate 12-point meters for in/out level and gain reduction, switchable +4dBu or -10dBV operating level, sidechain I/O, and servo-balanced XLR and 1/4" I/O. The Behringer MDX1600 Autocom Pro-XL Compressor takes up a single rackspace.

Control Elements and Connectors
1.) Pressing the COUPLE switch links the channels
2.) Use the TRIGGER control in the expander/ gate section to determine the threshold below which expansion sets in,so that signals below threshold are reduced in gain.
3.) If a signal below the adjusted value is applied,the red LED lights up.If the signal gain is above the adjusted value,the green LED lights up
4.) In order to adapt the expander optimally to the program material,use the RELEASE switch to select a short or long release time.
5.) The GATE switch allows you to toggle between the expander and the gate function
6.) Use the THRESHOLD control to adjust the compressor threshold from -40 to +20 dB.
7.) These three LED's indicate whether the input signal is above or below the adjusted compressor threshold.
8.) Activating the SC EXT switch interrupts the link between the signal input and the compressor control section.
9.) The SC MON switch links the sidechain input signal to the audio output,thereby muting the audio input signal.
10.) The RATIO control determines the ratio of inputs vs. output level with regard to all signals exceeding threshold by more than 10 dB.
11.) The 12-digit GAIN REDUCTION display informs you about the current gain reduction applied
12.) The LO CONTOUR switch activates a high-pass filter in the side-chain path and thus avoids the "pumping" effect caused by high-energy bass frequencies and their influence on the compression process.
13.) Use the ATTACK control to determine when the compression sets in once the signal has exceeded threshold.
14.) Press the INTERACTIVE KNEE switch to change from "hard knee" to IKA characteristic: Input signals exceeding threshold by up to 10 dB will be processed wit a "soft knee" characteristic.
15.) The AUTO function which is activated with the AUTO switch,disables the ATTACK and RELEASE controls and derives these time values automatically from the program material.
16) The RELEASE control sets the time when the original 1:1 gain is reached,after the signal has dropped below threshold again.
17.) The OUTPUT control allows you to raise or lower the output signal by max. 20 dB
18.) The 12-digit INPUT/OUTPUT LEVEL display reads both the level of the incoming audio signal and the level at the dynamics processor output.
19.) The IN/OUT Meter selects whether the gain LEDs read the input signal or the output signal
20.) The IN/OUT switch activates the corresponding channel.
21.) DE-ESSER switch - enhance the audio signal considerably,especially when processing vocal recordings
22.) LEVEL Control features an adjustable enhancer on which you can set the amount of treble boost with the LEVEL control
23.) Enhancer LEVEL - The LED chain reads the current treble boost within a range from -30 to 0 dB
24.) IN/OUT switch -use this switch to activate the enhancer circuit.
25.) The peak limiter limits the signal to an adjustable level.When the LIMITER control is turned fully to the right,the limiter is switched off.
26.) The LIMIT LED lights up as soon as the limiter is on.
Rear Panel Control Features:
1.) Fuse Holder / Voltage Selector
2-3) Outputs - These are the audio outputs of your dynamics processor
4.) Operating Level Switch - This switch can be used to adapt the AUTOCOM to various operating levels.
5-6.) Inputs-These are the audio inputs.They are also on balanced 1/4" TRS and XLR connectors
7.) Sidechain Send - This is the unbalanced sidechain output,which allows you to route the audio signal to other devices for external processing
8.) Sidechain Return - The sidechain input allows you to use an external signal or the processed audio signal routed from the SIDECHAIN SEND jack to control your AUTOCOM.

Exchange/refund procedure
For exchanges/refund, the customer is required to post an exchange/refund request on the “Q&A” board.
The request is to include the reason for exchanges/refunds and the order number.
In case of exchange/refund request due to product defects or wrong item delivered, detailed photos of the products are also required. Exchanges/refunds will be made shortly upon careful examination and confirmation on the reported defects.
The shipping costs occurring from product defects or wrong item delivered are the responsibility of the channel.com.ph.
