Introducing Sony's first consumer FDR-AX1 4K (Full HD 4x4x resolution, QFHD: 3840 x 2160) video camera2. Capture the finest details at incredibly high resolution, to produce vibrant and extremely realistic images. What's more, the blazingly fast image processor is the same one employed in professional Sony models, making it possible to record 60p movies at the camera's full resolution for incredibly smooth and sharp playback, with no loss in realism, even when panning the camera and shooting moving subjects.

• While camcorders typically support SD (720x480) to Full HD (1920x1080) formats the new FDR-AX1 Handycam®camcorder supports 4K (3840x2160). This is literally four times the resolution of Full HD (1920x1080). With this superior format the FDR-AX1 captures incredible detail, bringing you more realistic, vibrant, true-to-life video.

Extended 4K/HD video recording.

• The FDR-AX1 records 4K/HD movies in the XAVC-S format, which was developed for consumer usage based on the professional XAVC 4K/HD format. XAVC-S uses MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 Long GOP for video and linear PCM for audio compression, while saving files in an MP4 wrapper. The XAVC-S codec allows longer recording times within a given media capacity than XAVC, making 4K recording easier and more convenient.

• Sony's 1/2.3" 8.3MP Exmor R® CMOS image sensor is essential to the stunning image quality that the FDR-AX1 achieves. Its back-illuminated structure featuring wiring layers on the back of a photodiode (light receiving element) dramatically boosts low-light sensitivity for shooting better, more lifelike images even in dim lighting. Sony's cutting-edge technology also makes the camera nimble at reading massive 4K data at 60 fps.

Built-in mic with 2x additional Pro XLR jacks for external inputs.

• In addition to a high-performance internal microphone, the AX1 features two external XLR jacks for connecting external microphones that can also be used to record superior-quality balanced audio synchronized to the video. You can also mix audio from recordings made using the internal microphone and externally connected microphones, respectively.

• The G-Lens advances the Sony heritage of image processing innovation by redefining what an aspheric lens and special low-dispersion glass together can faithfully reproduce. Accordingly, the G-Lens is specially tuned to capture qualities of definition and color that put these groundbreaking Handycam® camcorders in a class of their own. In addition, the high-quality lens offers a broad zooming range from wide-angle to 20x optical zoom (31.5-630mm), enabling an amazing range of video expression.

• The FDR-AX1 features three ND filters for adjusting the amount of light entering the image sensor from the lens. There are four filter settings: Clear, 1/4 filter, 1/16 filter and 1/64 filter. These filter settings give users the ability to adjust to light conditions, while maintaining desired shutter angle and aperture even on bright and sunny days. Six paint functions (white, offset white, gamma, detail, skin detail and matrix) can be combined and adjusted in the paint menu to create expressive movie styling and cinematic looks.

   International shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties and customs fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination, and are the responsibility of the recipient. In case that the customer refuses to receive the parcel, the products are to be returned to Philippines and will not be shipped again. Returns & Exchanges

  Please make sure you have selected right options(e.g. size, color and quantity) prior to completing the order.
Once the order is completed, it is assumed that the customer agreed on our exchange/refund policy.
Exchanges and refunds are accepted only if the exchange/refund request is proven valid for the following reasons.

Eligible for exchanges and refunds:
On condition that the package (Labels, tags) of the products are intact.

-       Wrong item delivered
-       Defective products

-       Shoddy Goods

Ineligible for returns and exchanges:
-       Products with customer-induced damages

Exchange/refund procedure
For exchanges/refund, the customer is required to post an exchange/refund request on the “Q&A” board.

The request is to include the reason for exchanges/refunds and the order number.
In case of exchange/refund request due to product defects or wrong item delivered, detailed photos of the products are also required. Exchanges/refunds will be made shortly upon careful examination and confirmation on the reported defects. 

The shipping costs occurring from product defects or wrong item delivered are the responsibility of the channel.com.ph.

>Warranty

channel.com.ph will repair any product under warranty at no charge or replace the unit of the exact model if deemed necessary.

If repair of returned merchandise is necessary due to neglect, damage, misuse, or improper repair by others, a charge will be made for labor, parts, and return freight.
