Overview
LD Systems MAUI 44 Powered Column PA with LECC DSP
- The MAUI 44 is the LD Systems' MAUI family flagship with a massive 1.600 watts RMS of system power , 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 129 dB peak SPL. Eminently suitable for musicians, DJs, solo entertainers and fixed applications the compact column PA provides superior sonic performance and comprehensive features.
- Made from hard-wearing 15 mm birch ply and loaded with 2 x 12" neodymium chassis the band pass subwoofer is driven by two Hypex modules with separate SMPS. The 4 individual frequency groups of the vertical array featuring a total of sixteen 3,5" neodymium fullrange speakers with cast frames and integrated heat sinks plus two 1" Celestion HF drivers on a waveguide are individually powered by 4 discrete Class D amplifiers.
- The MAUI 44 provides both combo (XLR / 6.3 mm Jack) and RCA inputs. Master and subwoofer levels are adjustable individually and allow a perfect sound balance between crystal clear high tones, punchy mids and powerful bass in any situation . The LD Systems LECC digital signal processing (Limiter, Equalizer, Compressor and Crossover) and dual limiters ensure distortion-free audio and extended dynamics while protections against short circuit, overcurrent and overvoltage guarantee a safe and reliable operation.
- Designed for easy portability the MAUI 44 sub and aluminium array assembly weighs in at less than 60 kg. Custom multi-pin connectors minimize setup time , and the system's superior feedback resistance and extremely wide 120° horizontal dispersion eliminate the need for dedicated monitoring.
The
LD Systems MAUI44 PA system consists of three components:
- A.A Subwoofer with integrated electronics for all system components.
- B.The lower vertical array column with eight 3.5" speakers, 2 multi-pin connectors and the guide pins. Since the lower column is equipped with special circuitry, and the connector panels at both ends are identical, it is irrelevant which of the two power terminals is plugged into the subwoofer.
- C.The upper vertical array column with eight 3.5" speakers, the tweeters and a multi-pin connector on the bottom. Once the subwoofer has been placed in the desired location, the lower array column should then be plugged into the subwoofer. Sturdy steel pins help ensure that the multi-pin connectors of both speakers are perfectly interlocked. The upper vertical array column is simply plugged into the lower column in the same way. To facilitate transportation, as well as assembly and disassembly, handles at the top and bottom are attached on the back of the array columns. The handles can be removed if necessary using a 5 mm Allen key.
- As a rule, the MAUI44SE subwoofer extension can be positioned both next to and under the MAUI44 column system. For positioning under the
- MAUI44 column system, there are 4 recesses on the top of the subwoofer into which the rubber feet of the MAUI44 subwoofer fit exactly. This effectively
- Prevents slipping of the MAUI44 column system on the MAUI44SE subwoofer. Place the array columns on the MAUI44 subwoofer only after you have set both subwoofers one above the other.

Exchange/refund procedure
For exchanges/refund, the customer is required to post an exchange/refund request on the “Q&A” board.
The request is to include the reason for exchanges/refunds and the order number.
In case of exchange/refund request due to product defects or wrong item delivered, detailed photos of the products are also required. Exchanges/refunds will be made shortly upon careful examination and confirmation on the reported defects.
The shipping costs occurring from product defects or wrong item delivered are the responsibility of the channel.com.ph.

channel.com.ph will repair any product under warranty at no charge or replace the unit of the exact model if deemed necessary.
If repair of returned merchandise is necessary due to neglect, damage, misuse, or improper repair by others, a charge will be made for labor, parts, and return freight.
