Built for everyday creators working in tight spaces, the 100W Halo 100x Bi-Color LED Monolight from amaran offers higher output, flexible power options, and intuitive control. This point-source COB fixture is brighter than the previous amaran 100x S in roughly one-third of its size, outputting 4890 lux from a distance of 3.3' at its native and wider 85° beam angle. Just as the Halo 60x, the 100x version has a variable CCT from 2700 to 6500K and high color accuracy ratings, which enable flattering warm and cool lighting results. Control its settings with instant, one-tap pairing to the amaran app via built-in NFC and power the fixture using the included AC to DC adapter via USB-C PD input.

Travel-Ready Options

For maximum flexibility, the Halo 100x can also run on the separately available amaran Peak series via USB-C PD. This is possible using the optional Ace E-lock adapter and amaran Peak or the Peak 75 portable battery units. The optional amaran Peak enables 40 minutes at 100%, while the Peak 75 provides 52 minutes of runtime (limited to 60W).

Wide Compatibility

On the face of the unit is a reinforced full-size Bowens mount that is compatible with an optional mini reflector, mini Fresnel, and a wide array of Bowens mount modifiers. amaran also includes a 1/4"-20 to baby pin adapter with integrated tilting bracket and an umbrella holder, so you get great compatibility with optional umbrellas and stands. Just as the Halo 60x, amaran kept the 100x model ultra-compact at 5.2 x 4.7 x 2.2" yet widely compatible thanks to its full Bowens mount versatility.
